Fetchorama.com is the web site for a real brick and mortar store called Fetch in Portland, Maine (there are other Fetches in the U.S., but we're not related to each other).
Fetch opened on April Stool's Day, 2000. We're on a mission. We want to provide dogs and cats (and their people) in Portland with a high quality of life, which means that we take fun (and nutrition) seriously. After 2 1/2 years in a vast (if you are a chihuahua) location on Munjoy Hill in Portland's East End, we decided that we needed more space so that we could continue to offer the freshest, most imaginative toys and gear as well as what we think are the best all-natural foods, supplements and litters. Since September 23, 2002, we've been at our present location on Commercial Street, in the heart of the Old Port's Historic District on the waterfront. We've got lots of ideas cooking for photos sessions, holiday events, seminars, readings and demos now that we've got plenty of space. Stay tuned for these events by checking on our Events page from time to time.
Our web site will continue to grow as we add more of our favorite products, and our events section will be updated regularly too so please bookmark us and check back from time to time.
Kathy, Zip, Max, Clarabelle and Judy
PS. We'd like to thank Mary Anne Lloyd for her wonderful illustrations and ideas, and ad loc. design for their patience and expertise! And Jocelyn Lee for Higgins Beach photo above…and Hannah Fettig for allowing us to use her black and white pug playtime photos…and Shoshannah White for her great shot of Zip sleeping.
